2 Rewards under this program are administered by RecycleBank. Rewards are earned on purchases made with the Gconomy Visa Card. First-Use Bonus: After using the card to make the initial qualifying purchase or balance transfer, you will be eligible to receive a one time bonus award of two thousand five hundred (2,500) RecycleBank Points. Cardmembers do not earn Points on finance charges, balance transfers, balance transfer checks, cash advances and unauthorized charges. Earning Points: Cardmember(s) earn one (1) RecycleBank point for every one dollar ($1.00) spent in new net retail purchase transactions (purchases less credits, returns, and adjustments) made with the Card anywhere it is accepted. Cardmember(s) earn one-point-five (1.5) RecycleBank Points for every one dollar ($1.00) spent in new net retail purchase transactions (purchases less credits, returns, and adjustments) made with the card on participating RecycleBank Rewards Partners. Not all RecycleBank Partners participate in the earn rate of one-point-five (1.5) RecycleBank Points for every one dollar ($1.00) spent. Merchants featured in The Boutique do not participate in the earn rate of one-point-five (1.5) RecycleBank Points for every one dollar ($1.00) spent. For a list of participating partners please click here. For the non-participating RecycleBank Partners, cardmember(s) continue to earn one (1) RecycleBank Point for every one dollar ($1.00) spent. Points will be credited to your RecycleBank account at the close of your monthly billing statement. You can earn up to 450 RecycleBank Points per month for recycling or up to a total of 5,400 Points per year from recycling.
3 The Green Schools Program offers numerous grants to schools in RecycleBank communities that work with children (ages 6-18) in the fields of environmental awareness, education, and action. RecycleBank will contribute a portion of its proceeds directly to the Green Schools Program with a minimum donation commitment of $1 million dollars ($1,000,000) over the first 5 (five) years of the launch of The Gconomy Card.
